As one of Athens’ top neighborhoods for investment, if there’s one thing that defines the Victoria neighborhood in Athens, it’s the unique blend of old and new—evident in its historic buildings alongside neoclassical architecture, world-renowned archaeological museums alongside a vibrant cultural scene, and more.
The Victoria neighborhood is located in central Athens, north of the historic triangle of Omonia, Syntagma, and Monastiraki. It boasts a wealth of museums, theaters, galleries, hotels, cafes, and restaurants. Reflecting the neighborhood’s youthful, student-oriented character, Victoria also boasts an impressive nightlife scene.
Victoria is a developing neighborhood with tremendous potential due to its central location, government development investments in the area, and urban renewal projects. It is one of the “classic destinations” a real estate investor would choose, as prices are still (relatively) low while the potential for appreciation is enormous. Recently, “Palmo” launched the "Victoria Project" — an innovative apartment complex built on the site of the city’s historic and well-known Filoxenia Hotel, which was once a sought-after hotel in the heart of Athens and a symbol of the city’s history. The project offers hotel-standard apartments, including a modern lobby with a reception desk, a fitness center, a luxurious rooftop with a bar, a restaurant, and even a pool with a view of the Acropolis. It is expected to feature 10 floors and 60 apartments, which buyers will be able to rent out on a long-term basis or through a hotel-style model for short-term stays. The University of Economics and Business Administration is located just 800 meters from the project.
