The Neos Kosmos neighborhood in Athens

In a sense, it can be compared to Haifa’s Lower City, which, due to its proximity to the port and the bay, also served in the past as a residential area for port workers of all kinds—but over time, an art scene, a hipster culture, underground clubs and bars that “revitalized” the area and turned it into a nightlife hotspot and a household name in the northern city.
